You can also pay online via the BMAF website with their Stripe payment system but please be aware that the system deducts 5% and 50p per transaction to process the online payments, so SWVAC receives less per transaction than if you pay by cheque or standing order.

If you are considering becoming a member of SWVAC here are a few of the benefits and how to proceed :-

  • - You will be eligible to enter all domestic and international Masters/Veterans competitions
  • - An annual SWVAC track and field competition at Exeter Stadium, plenty of distance races such as 5,000m, 10,000m and 1 hour races
  • - SWVAC club championship road races from 5km up to marathon
  • - SWVAC competitions are organised in 5-year age categories
  • - An annual competition for the best male and female road runners on age adjusted scores
  • - A ballot for a place in the London Marathon
  • - Inter Area track & field and cross country challenges (team events where SWVAC team competes against other areas such as SCVAC etc.)
  • - Selection for International events such as the British & Irish Masters Cross Country International in November each year 
  • - All members receive free the club magazine, Veteranews, as well as an online copy of Masters Athletics, the magazine of the British Masters Athletics Federation.

The major highlight is the Exeter Stadium SWVAC Track & Field Championship meeting. It is a great opportunity to meet fellow athletes from the region in a friendly atmosphere. It is suitable for everyone, of whatever standard, from regular competitors to those who haven't done track and field since school.

Our membership year runs from 1st April to 31st March, if you are thinking of joining us in the later part of a year we offer 15 months of membership for the price of 12 months, i.e. if you join and pay after 1st January then you won't need to renew and pay until April 1st the year after.
