British & Irish Masters Cross Country International in Glasgow on Saturday 12th November 2016

If you have an interest in being considered for selection for the England Masters cross country team in connection with the International to be held at Tollcross Park, Glasgow on Saturday 12th November 2016 please read on.

Teams will be selected by a panel of selectors representing the various regions of England. Selectors will take into consideration performances at 5k and 10k. BMAF championship events will also be considered but it must be stressed that these are not selection events as such. They will help in terms of identifying performances by athletes in the same age groups going head to head. Please ensure that you include all relevant 5k and 10k results posted this year in your application form together with any relevant BMAF championship results.

Team Age Categories - Women 35/40/45/50/55/60/65/70+    Men 35/40/45/50/55/60/65/70/75+

If selected you must be prepared to pay your own travel and accommodation expenses, as there is no financial assistance available from EAMA. Your England vest will be supplied. You will however need to supply other items of running kit (including red shorts). Athletes will be notified about the outcome of their application within a few days of the selection meeting in early October.

It is important that all athletes wishing to be selected are paid up members of their respective Masters/Veteran area club or association.
